MBA + Co-authoring of specialized academic journals
In order to enhance the competitiveness of the financial industry, which is the core area of national competitiveness, and to cultivate financial experts, the department aims to produce financial globally competitive specialists by educating students with the latest financial information and current global financial knowledge utilizing the latest tools and techniques.
The program combines online and offline learning\ through various educational program that take into account the temporal and spatial constraints of office workers and regional constraints of students residing in other regions or overseas. Students abroad can still acquire an MBA degree by only attending online lectures.
In addition to acquiring a Master's degree, the Finance/Accounting MBA program provides opportunities for students to co-author papers professors with the goal of publishing in specialized academic journals of the Academic Promotion Foundation (academic staff). Such an achievement can be very advantageous when applying to a doctoral program in the future particularly if published in specialized academic journals. For example, under the guidance of Professor YongHyun Kim, MBA graduate Lee, JungHo (who attended several Ph.D. programs at renowned universities in Seoul and is currently attending one) developed a thesis for his Master's degree which was published in an academic journal (as reported in the Monthly Chosun).
