Course Enrollment

Please follow these steps for the course enrollment.

STEP 01

Access the course registration menu

In the case of enrolled students, after completing the tuition payment, access Hansadero → Academics/Administration → Academic Administration → Class → Student-Course → Course Registration Menu
For graduates, pay the tuition after completing course registration for the subject you want to take.

STEP 02

Notice pop-up

When accessing the course registration menu, check notifications related to course registration and click [Close].

STEP 03

Select the subject you want to apply for

After selecting the subject of your major, click [Apply] to go to the course list. At this time, if the number of participants in one subject exceeds 25, application cannot be made.

STEP 04

Check lesson plans

You can check by clicking the lesson plan button in the list of opened courses list.

STEP 05

Check course lists and credits

Check the subjects and credits from the course list to make sure they are the subjects you want and the credits you applied for.

STEP 06

Elective course changes

If you want to change a subject you selected and applied for, click [Cancel] in the course list within the course registration period and apply for the subject you want.

STEP 07

Tuition payment

For those who have completed all the subjects they want to take, go to Hansadero → Academics/Administration → Academic Administration → Registration → Tuition Payment menu to complete the tuition payment.

  • Taking a Course

    The following is about class
    composition and attendance.

    • Course Open Date
        Every Monday at 12AM (1st Week course opens at 10AM)
        * From the 2nd Week, lecture contents are available from Friday at 12AM (Early-bird Program)
    • Attendance Requirement
        For every lecture contents that opens weekly, a student must participate at least 50% of a lecture.
    • Mobile Devices
        The same attendance requirement applies for taking courses on mobile devices.
  • Examination

    The following is about
    exam time and participation.

    • Real-Time Examination
      • A student must take real-time exams on designated exam schedule
        * The exam schedule for mid-term and final will be announced in the beginning of the semester
    • Exam time
      • Weekdays 9pm ~ 11pm
      • Weekends/Holidays 6pm ~ 11pm
    • Assignment-type Examination
      • Assignment-type exams can be submitted in LMS. Please check the instruction in LMS on how to submit assignment-type exams.
  • Grading

    The following is about grade evaluation
    criteria and related content.

    • Graded components are attendance, examination, assignments and other academic activities and it may defer depending on courses. Courses will be assessed in a 100-point scale.
    • If a student attends less than 3/4 of a course, it is an automatic F grade for the course, regardless of other assessment grades.
    • If a student misses both mid-term and final exams for a course, the student will receive a F grade (a make-up assignment is an exception) regardless of other assessment grades.
    • Special subjects such as experiments, practicum, and practical skills can have separate evaluation criteria.
    • For each course, a C grade or higher is recognized as credits earned, but the average GPA of the total credits required to complete each course must be grade a B or higher.

Registrar

The following information covers the registration processes of various student statuses.

Returning Student
  • A student must submit an application form for returning to school before leave of absence expires.
  • The application form is accepted only during the designated period.
  • If a student does not apply for returning to school before leave of absence expires, he/she will be disenrolled.
Withdraw
  • If a student wishes to withdraw from school, he/she must submit a form for withdrawing from school and have permission from the head of department and the president.
  • Tuition refund will be made based on the educational legislation.
Disenrollment
  • A student expelled due to disciplinary action
  • Any students who does not return to school after leave of absence expires.
  • Any students who does not register for enrollment.
Leave of Absence
  • General Leave of Absence / Military Service Leave of Absence.
  • Students on a leave of absence retain their academic records during the period of absence, but the period of leave of absence is not considered as a period of enrollment.
  • A student can be granted with leave of absence a total of 4 times.
Readmission
  • A student who on disenrollment can be readmitted to the same program before the disenrollment.
  • The readmission applications are accepted on a designated period before a semester begins.
Changing Major
  • A student can apply to change one’s major.
  • The date for changing major will be announced before a semester begins.

Graduation
What is Graduation assessment?
Graduation occurs when an examination of a students qualifications to graduation are conducted to ensure that all requirements have been met. Graduation is possible only when all graduation requirements are met. If even one criteria is not met, graduation is not allowed.
However, graduation requirements may change for early graduation in each major. Such information will be posted in the announcements section for each major. Generally, graduation requirements are as follows:
  • Completion of at least 5 semesters, earning at least 30 credits
    Include passing thesis (academic) exams (6 credits) or completing thesis replacement credits (6 credits)
  • Acquisition of at least the minimum graduation credits for each completion category
  • GPA of the total number of credits must be 3.0 (B grade) or higher
